Why we're called
Our name comes from Article 36A of the Indonesian Constitution, which describes the national motto: Bhinneka Tunggal Ika - "Unity in Diversity.“
This motto captures everything we believe in. We're an international team of European and Asian designers who don't just work together - we learn from each other. Every culture brings unique perspectives that make our work stronger.
Partnerships, not transactions
We don't believe in the typical client-agency relationship where you hand over a brief and hope for the best. That's not how partnerships work.
We build relationships based on mutual respect
You're the expert in your business, we're experts in design. Together, we create something better than either of us could alone.
No ego, no drama, just good work
We're here to solve your design problems and maybe have some fun chats along the way.

Being a Dutchie throughout, moving to Indonesia was a big step. Different culture, hot weather, and spicy foods... But honestly, it's a step I have never regretted.
The people and culture here are so amazing that it's impossible not to feel welcomed. That's why I'm so happy I had the opportunity to start Article 36. Together with our awesome team, we help you with captivating designs that actually work.
